Nandkumar Awatramani is a third generation Hospitality Entrepreneur with 18 years in the hospitality industry. He is based out of New York City and helps restaurateurs and other F&B business owners make more money, get their time back, and grow their businesses beyond what they could have thought was possible.
He holds a BSc. International Hospitality Management & Tourism (Summa Cum Laude) from Les Roches International School of Hotel Management (Switzerland).
He is responsible for starting one of India’s first company-owned and franchised Quick Service Restaurant chains spanning 5 Indian states.
Prior to establishing F&B Business School and Nara Hospitality Business Consultants, his experience includes many years spent working at Restaurant Du Parc Des Eaux Vives (Geneva, Switzerland), Le Pavillon Hotel (New Orleans, USA), The Taj President (Mumbai, India), The West End Hotel (Mumbai, India), as well as running his own company, Mardi Gras Restaurants (Mumbai India).
As a result of his personal experience in the hospitality industry, Nandkumar can relate to other entrepreneurs and professionals and understands their passions, desires, wants and frustrations. He has felt the thrill of owning a business. Consequently, he understands the complexities that go into making a business successful but also performing way ahead of the competition with minimal effort.
Essentially, his core competency enables him to bring a results and profit-oriented mindset to daily operations. His key approach is identification of the right priorities, and alignment of business systems and people. He has the ability to evaluate the present and the possible future of a situation, or business, and take the right decision at the right time to achieve bigger goals.
